At CNN, you're part of a global team that shapes the world's biggest stories. We're looking for a Senior Reporter/Editor to join our Asia-Pacific headquarters in Hong Kong, focusing on US politics and national news.

As a Senior Reporter/Editor, you'll work with top-notch teams to deliver breaking news to a multi-platform audience. Your tasks will include:

- Identifying and editing breaking news with clarity and urgency

- Operating as a key editorial link between CNN's US and EMEA hubs

- Helping to set up the morning for CNN's US audience

- Moving between different story formats, including video

- Ensuring all journalism produced adheres to CNN's standards and editorial integrity

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

- 5-8 years of experience in editing, reporting, and writing breaking news at a leading digital-first media outlet

- Deep knowledge of US news, particularly national politics and major political campaigns

- Sharp news judgment and the ability to think critically

- Comfort working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines

- Perfect grasp of written and spoken English
