## Description

We are seeking a technically strong, energetic, and collaborative engineering leader to run the software engineering team for the AppExchange Go To Market App. This is a new platform transforming Salesforce’s AppExchange from a basic listing platform into a fully integrated, transactable marketplace.

Responsibilities:

- Lead architecture discussions and technical strategy, proactively resolving systemic issues and making data-driven decisions that support long-term product stability and scalability

- Partner with Product Owners and cross-functional stakeholders to align engineering with product priorities, coordinate delivery, and communicate execution risks

- Mentor and grow your engineering talent , providing technical guidance and career development, empowering teams to self-coordinate, and actively participating in hiring

- Stay hands-on with technical work when needed, contributing directly to keep your skills sharp and support the team

Requirements:

- 10+ years of progressive engineering experience, including 3+ years directly managing and mentoring high-performing software engineering teams

- Deep technical background in scalable, highly available platform development, with a focus on Java/Java Virtual Machine (JVM) languages and modern cloud architecture

- Experience leading teams and/or hands-on work with a major public cloud platform , Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) , along with Kubernetes and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)

- Proven track record building reliable, self-healing services with robust automation and end-to-end service ownership

The typical base salary range for this position is $172,500 - $260,100 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $207,800 - $285,800 annually.
