## Description

Instacart is transforming the grocery industry by providing a platform for customers to order groceries and household goods. The company is now hiring a Deal Desk Specialist to join its Sales organization.

The Deal Desk Specialist role sits at the intersection of Sales and Finance, and the person who fills it will have a direct line of sight to deal velocity, revenue quality, and the health of Instacart's Quote-to-Cash process.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Improve deal velocity by ensuring deals move from quote to close without friction.

- Enhance risk and compliance by spotting contract risks before signature and aligning deals with ASC 606 and approval policies.

- Achieve quote-to-cash excellence by documenting and maintaining a consistent Salesforce/CPQ Quote-to-Cash process.

- Foster cross-functional partnership among Sales, Finance, Tax, and Legal teams.

- Operationalize scalable new programs, including new products, pricing models, and acquisitions.

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.

- 4+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Auditing, Finance, Partnerships, Brand Management, and/or Revenue Accounting.

- Experience working with sales organizations and communicating across teams.

- Ability to read complex contracts and evaluate risk.

- Understanding of ASC 606 and Quote-to-Cash processes in SFDC/CPQ.

- Proficiency in Excel.

- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.

- Experience with using AI solutions to enhance current processes and workflows.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Salesforce experience.

- CPQ experience.

- Experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
