## Description

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Principal responsibilities:

- Collaborate with business partners and vendors to develop and deploy core banking products, adhering to HSBC processes and coding standards.

- Analyse requirements, develop and review technical designs, and conduct code reviews.

- Prepare unit and system test plans, conduct unit testing and system integration testing.

- Suggest proactive solutions to issues and incidents reported on products.

- Ensure compliance with operational risk controls and regulatory standards.

- Participate in change advisory boards and regional quality forums.

- Ensure service resilience and sustainability.

Requirements:

- University graduate with a degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.

- At least 8 years of experience in IT with solid knowledge of application development and support.

- Demonstrated ability to meet critical time-sensitive objectives.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in written English.

- Familiarity with AS400, RPGLE, CL, and Java and Spring Boot is preferred.

- Solid domain knowledge of HUB, Core Banking, Interface, Payment, etc. is preferred.

- Experience in API development and knowledge of HSBC API development standards is preferred.

- Awareness of Agile/DevOps approaches and practices is an advantage.
