## Description

We are seeking linguists to work on projects for our clients within our Retail and MCM divisions. As a linguist, you will be responsible for translating and proofreading various types of documents, ensuring that the translated documents mirror the original source document.

The main subject matter categories are:

- Luxury Brands/Apparel

- Hair

- Makeup

- Beauty

- Multicultural Marketing

You will be working on a variety of projects, including translation, proofreading, and adaptation of marketing concepts and content. You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills in Canadian French and English, as well as exceptional problem-solving skills.

The Montreal office of TransPerfect is looking for translators and revisers of English to French at different levels of experience (intermediate or senior) in the banking and insurance domain. You will be responsible for translating and revising high-visibility content in the banking and insurance domain.

Responsibilities:

- Translate and proofread various types of documents

- Ensure translated documents mirror the original source document

- Efficiently maintain formal disciplined operational procedures across a variety of client projects

- Track project-specific non-conformances and resolutions

- Personally perform project QA steps

- Properly utilize all appropriate supplemental materials

- Be responsible for any errors/omissions associated with a project

- Be comfortable with Copy-Adapt/Adaptive Editing/Transcreation jobs
