## Description

We are seeking a Senior Radiographer to join the team at Meriden Hospital in Coventry, part of Circle Health Group. This bank role involves working on an 'as and when required' basis to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff.

**Responsibilities:**

- Participate in the efficient and safe operation of the Imaging Department, providing a high-quality service to patients and visitors.

- Carry out general and specialised radiographic procedures within your scope of competence.

- Undertake imaging examinations using techniques that produce the lowest radiation dose to patients and staff while producing high-quality diagnostic images.

- Practice good radiation protection and safety, observing Local Rules and Systems of Work.

- Comply with departmental IRMER and Radiation Safety Policies and Procedures.

- Participate in supervision, training, and peer review within your area of competence.

**Requirements:**

- Previous experience working within the acute healthcare sector.

- Experience of customer care, including interacting with challenging customers and situations.

- Ability to undertake IV contrast injections.

- Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography.

- Healthcare Professionals Council (HCPC) registration.

- General radiographic background/training.

- UK Breast Imaging certificate.

**Salary and Benefits:**

- Competitive hourly rate of up to £30.00 per hour, depending on level of experience, training, and qualification.
