## Description

We are seeking an Entry-Level Electrical Hardware Design Engineer to join our Defence Electrical Systems Department in Huntsville, AL. As an engineer, you will work on creating unique solutions to complex engineering challenges. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team focusing on advanced hardware products.

The successful candidate will work through all phases of the product life cycle, from concept development to post-delivery support. Responsibilities include:

- Architecting, implementing, and testing printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs)

- Working with electronics integrated into various aerospace and military systems

- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to solve technical problems

- Supporting resolution of technical issues during manufacture and testing

- Troubleshooting board-level issues and identifying corrective actions

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent from an ABET-accredited institution with a 3.0 or higher GPA

- Knowledge of digital/analog/mixed signal electronics and high-speed communications

- Experience in electronics design and test

- Ability to work in a collaborative engineering environment

- Demonstrated experience in effective communication within a team

- Hands-on laboratory experience with instrumentation and test equipment

- Residency in North Alabama or willingness to relocate

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree with a 3.8 or higher GPA

- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent

- Previous relevant experience through internships or college design projects

- Experience with complex multi-layer electronic circuit card assemblies

- Knowledge of switched-mode power supply design and Mentor Graphics tools

The salary range for this position is $57,850.00 - $104,575.00.
