## Description

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Software Engineer for Mist Wired Assurance & Mist Edge solution to work primarily from an HPE office.

As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native software solutions and microservices. You will build and enhance REST APIs and backend services that support high-performance applications, work with distributed data stores and messaging technologies, and participate in the complete software development lifecycle.

To be successful in this role, you will need to bring:

- 6 years of experience working in cloud platforms, cloud services, or product-based technology companies

- Strong programming skills in at least one language: Python, Go, or C++

- Hands-on experience building and deploying microservices-based applications

- Experience working with data stores, serialization technologies, and distributed systems

- Good understanding of RESTful API design and development

- Experience working in Agile environments with CI/CD-based software development practices

- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative team-oriented mindset

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred)
