## Description

We are seeking a Manager, AI-Native Security Operations to lead our Security Operations function. This role involves rebuilding our Security Operations function around AI, leading a team spanning detection engineering, threat intelligence, and hunting, and incident response.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and grow a team of security analysts, detection engineers, and threat intelligence practitioners.

- Run a live operation: incidents, detections, hunts, on-call coverage, service-provider relationships, and operational metrics.

- Automate the volume, not the analyst: build and enforce an automated incident runbook program.

- Own the detections: run detection engineering as a product.

- Build threat intelligence and hunting into programs.

- Build the AI-native SOC: lead the team through the shift from AI-assisted work to delegated work.

Requirements:

- 5+ years in security operations, incident response, or detection engineering.

- Experience running a SOC or detection function at a SaaS or cloud-native company.

- Hands-on detection engineering credibility.

- Experience owning a managed detection relationship.

- Direct experience automating SOC workflows.

- Working fluency with modern security data platforms.

- Incident command experience under real pressure.

- Strong people leadership.

- Excellent written communication.

- Excellent prioritization.

- Comfort working in an AI-forward environment.

Nice to Have:

- Experience securing AI or agentic systems.

- Prior experience standing up a threat intelligence program.

- Experience transitioning detection capability in-house.

- Experience with non-human identity at scale.

- Background in HR, payroll, or fintech SaaS.

- Experience with cyber resilience practice.

- Experience building or supervising LLM agents.

- Public contribution to the detection engineering or threat intelligence community.
