## Description

We are seeking a Front Desk Agent to join our team at Crowne Plaza Crystal City. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for anticipating guest needs, exceeding expectations, and implementing creative solutions to provide exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guests in a friendly and positive manner

- Process check-ins and check-outs, verify billing, create reservations, and process special requests

- Assist guests with knowledge of hotel property, local attractions, and hours of operation of hotel outlets and services

- Work as a team player to meet guest needs and contribute to efforts of other departments

- Understand and follow our guest service recovery program

- Follow proper selling techniques to maximize room revenues and monitor room availability

- Drive sales and maximize revenue by up-selling rooms and amenities

- Adhere to company procedures when handling cash and processing financial transactions

- Maintain a clean and safe work area, compliant with company, brand, local, state, and federal regulations

Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED required

- 1+ year prior guest service experience in a hospitality setting

- Excellent verbal communication skills, attention to detail, customer-focused, and ability to perform job duties in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis
