## Description

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team at LGP - Alleghany Surgery in Low Moor, VA. As a Medical Assistant, you will provide administrative and clinical support to our healthcare team, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with medical procedures.

Responsibilities:

- Provide administrative support to the healthcare team, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient records.

- Take vital signs, prepare patients for exams, and assist with medical procedures.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including stocking supplies and sanitizing equipment.

- Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry and billing.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.

- Completion of a medical assisting program or equivalent experience preferred.

- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
