## Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Center Support Specialist to provide complex support to meet uptime goals. As a technical subject matter expert, you will participate in maintaining, troubleshooting, and managing Data Center Systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Manage the installation, maintenance, and upgrades of internal and external computer hardware systems

- Collaborate with Infrastructure and Business services to provision and set up environments

- Assist with designing automation scripts and best practice processes to minimize human intervention

- Propose and guide the implementation of systems and enhancements to improve reliability and performance

- Monitor usage and performance using standard tool sets

- Respond to production issues escalated by clients and support teams

- Train personnel on Data Center processes and systems

- Work with Service Providers to ensure operational aspects of the Data Center are working properly

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of related experience or Master's Degree with 3 years of related experience

- Equivalent experience can be substituted for degree requirements

- In-depth knowledge of large-scale enterprise Data Center Operation platforms

- Comfortable working in on-prem, distributed, and hybrid Data Center environments

- Ability to combine metrics, events, and traces into a holistic IT Operation system

- Good knowledge of Data Center facilities, server, network, virtualization, cloud, and container technologies

- Fluent German and English speaker
