## Description

Advance your career as a Systems Administrator at GDIT, collaborating with driven professionals in enterprise IT. You'll work on impactful projects, contributing to the mission of our customers.

Responsibilities:

- Patch desktops/servers, install and configure software, hardware, and networks

- Respond to service outages, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot issues

- Participate in Configuration Control Board (CCB) to review proposed system modifications

- Conduct monthly vulnerability scans of classified systems and notify ISSM/O of vulnerabilities

- Perform system updates, make recommendations on server configurations, and implement changes

- Provide technical expertise in system design, installation, configuration, and problem resolution

- Develop and interpret detailed installation instructions and supporting documentation

- Set up administrator and service accounts, maintain system documentation, and tune system performance

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

- At least 5 years of work experience with Windows (versions up to WIN11 and Server 2026)

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Demonstrated success in automating server builds and standardizing images

- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a service-oriented mindset

- Secret clearance level

- US citizenship required

- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (preferred)
