## Description

As a Data Quality Administrator at HM Land Registry (HMLR), you will join our Local Land Charges (LLC) quality assurance team.

If you have prior experience of delivering quality assurance, quality control or quality audit of bulk textual and/or spatial datasets then we’d love to hear from you.

In this role you will be performing a range of quality assurance tests against textual and spatial data sets at a variety of key check points, both during and after digitisation, transformation and migration of the Local Authority data into the HMLR’s LLC central register.

You can find out more information about our Local Land Charges Programme at LLC programme details

In this role you will examine extracts from textual and spatial data sets to validate conformance and consistency against pre-defined criteria, quickly and accurately identifying all instances of non-conformance in the data.

You will document the outcomes of all quality assurance tests and maintain online dashboards to record the volumes of data tested, the accuracy achieved and give a justification for all non-compliant items.

You will be working as part of a team, and should have an understanding of spatial data to enable you to confidently make referrals where appropriate to ensure an accurate evaluation is achieved.

You will take ownership of your own development, building capabilities through continuous learning.

To be successful in this role, you should have prior experience of delivering quality assurance, quality control or quality audit of bulk textual and/or spatial datasets.

You will have the ability to consolidate, integrate and interpret geographic information and mapping data from a variety of different sources.

You will possess excellent attention to detail, with a proven ability of applying a methodical and consistent approach to assessing information across a variety of different data sources

You will be able to work confidently with a range of internal and/or external stake holders to achieve a single goal, and have strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to assess, adjust and prioritise concurrent work activities.

You should have good IT skills, with recent experience of utilising Microsoft based software, including Outlook, Word and Excel.

Where an individual taking up the responsibility will be based in Swansea Office, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable.

GCSE (or equivalent), at Grade 4 / Grade C or above in English and Mathematics.

Alongside your salary of £27,883, HM Land Registry contributes £8,077 towards you being a member of the Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension scheme. Find out what benefits a Civil Service Pension provides.
