## Description

As a Senior Security Solutions Architect, you will serve as a technical authority for Splunk’s Security business across the Americas Service Provider space.

You will bridge the gap between complex customer challenges and innovative security solutions, driving strategic growth and technical excellence.

Key responsibilities:

- Shape the security vision for high-value customers by aligning Splunk’s capabilities with their long-term transformation goals in SIEM, threat detection, and AI-driven Security Operations.

- Engage with CISOs and senior technical decision-makers to translate business risk into robust technical architectures and solve complex security problems.

- Lead competitive displacement campaigns and complex technical engagements, mobilizing resources across Cisco and Splunk to secure strategic wins.

- Mentor and up-skill the ASP technical field through workshops, reference architectures, and the development of repeatable technical sales motions.

- Represent the voice of ASP customers to global product and engineering teams, providing critical insights on market trends, competitive threats, and regional requirements.

Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, Master's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent practical experience.

- Significant professional experience in cybersecurity, Security Operations, security architecture, or technical pre-sales/consulting.

- Deep technical knowledge of enterprise SIEM, automation, threat detection, response, and modern security architecture.

- Proven ability to engage senior technical leaders and translate complex business/security requirements into enterprise-grade solutions.

- Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder technical sales engagements across diverse geographic and cultural environments.

Preferred qualifications:

- In-depth expertise with Enterprise Security, SOAR, and the broader Cisco security portfolio.

- Strong understanding of SOC transformation, detection engineering, threat hunting, security automation, and Agentic Security architectures.

- Experience positioning against leading competitors in the SIEM, XDR, and security data platform markets.

- Track record of creating technical enablement materials, reference designs, or scalable technical assets.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical architects and executive stakeholders.

- Experience operating in the Service Provider space.
