## Description

We are seeking an Injury Prevention Specialist/Athletic Trainer/Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Norwich, NY. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $24.93-$34.28 per hour.

As an Injury Prevention Specialist, you will interface with office and industrial clients to assess employee health status and create individualized plans for improvement. Your responsibilities will include:

- Assessing body mechanics through observation of employee work performance, determining risk, and creating plans for mitigation

- Performing and documenting employee treatments within the workplace efficiently and completely

- Understanding OSHA recordkeeping rules as they pertain to first aid (29 CFR 1904.7)

- Proactively addressing discomfort through education and job-specific coaching to eliminate contributions to injury

- Assisting with medical surveillance testing and clinic operations

- Identifying, developing, and providing employee health education and training on wellness and disease prevention topics

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Athletic Training

- Other Qualified Disciplines: Associate's degree as a PTA with licensure; or Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science/Athletic Training/Kinesiology/Allied Health; or 2 years of experience in a military healthcare setting

- Discipline-specific license or certification as appropriate

- Basic Life Support and AED Certification

- BOC certified or eligible to sit for BOC preferred
