## Description

We are looking for a Principal or Associate Engineer (Wastewater Network Modelling) to support team leaders in managing project delivery.

The role involves developing urban drainage modelling capability, providing technical input on urban drainage projects, and supporting the wastewater team in delivering current and future projects.

Responsibilities include:

- Developing the urban drainage modelling capability in the team

- Supporting the team lead in managing the work of the local technical delivery team

- Providing technical input on urban drainage projects

- Exercising independent engineering judgement and providing innovative solutions to engineering problems

- Developing and maintaining excellent client relationships

- Participating in business development and proposal preparation

- Promoting the WSP brand through industry forums and conferences

- Contributing to the learning of the wider team through knowledge sharing exercises

Requirements:

- Relevant degree and chartered, or significantly progressed on your journey in pursuing qualification with ICE, IEI, IoW or CIWEM

- Experience of wastewater hydraulic modelling (InfoWorks ICM)

- Knowledge of Water Industry Specifications, Code of Practice for the Hydraulic Modelling of Urban Drainage Systems, and relevant British Standards

- Good presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
