## Description

WSP is seeking an experienced and passionate project delivery leader to join their Earth & Environment team as Director, Project Governance, BC & Yukon.

The successful candidate will establish and drive a regional project governance and project management office (PMO) approach that strengthens consistency, accountability, and delivery performance across a diverse portfolio of environmental engineering projects.

Key responsibilities include:

- Establishing and leading a consistent project governance and controls framework across the BC & Yukon Earth & Environment business

- Driving adoption of project management standards, tools, and best practices to improve project execution, predictability, commercial performance, and client outcomes

- Providing oversight of portfolio health, using performance insights to identify risks, trends, and opportunities

- Leading and developing Project Controllers and Project Control Administrators

- Building project management capability through practical tools, training, coaching, and knowledge sharing

The ideal candidate will have:

- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, Environmental Sciences, or a related discipline

- Professional certification or designation such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent project governance, risk, or program management credentials

- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in project management, project controls, program oversight, governance, or professional consulting environments

- Proven experience overseeing complex, multidisciplinary project portfolios and supporting successful project delivery across diverse stakeholder groups

- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, governance frameworks, project controls, commercial management, and performance reporting

In terms of compensation, the salary range for this role is:

- $177,000 - $234,000 for BC, YT
