## Description

We are seeking a Sr. Corporate Legal Counsel (Legal Director) to join our Legal Department in Piscataway, New Jersey.

The successful candidate will be part of a mid-sized in-house legal team handling U.S. Legal and Compliance issues, with opportunities for growth.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Review contracts and provide legal support to U.S. business units

- Conduct legal research using platforms like LexisNexis and Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools

- Coordinate with the Corporate Secretary Office on corporate organizational works for U.S. legal entities

- Collect, organize, and update laws, regulations, and relevant cases related to Biotechnology, Technology, Life Science, and Employment/HR for compliance purposes

- Manage litigation cases, collect information, participate in internal investigations, and assist with outside legal counsel management

- Coordinate with HR and outside law firms on employment-related immigration and visa matters

**Qualifications:**

- Law degree (J.D.) with 10-20 years of legal experience as a licensed lawyer

- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
