## Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Software Development Engineer III to serve as a technical lead throughout the full software development lifecycle. You will participate in the design, development, implementation, testing, and documentation of mobile or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using Java, Node.js, or Object-Oriented Design.

Responsibilities:

- Serve as technical lead throughout the full software development lifecycle end-to-end

- Participate in the design, development, implementation, testing, and documentation of mobile or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services

- Provide design reviews for other engineers, including feedback on architecture and design issues, as well as integration, performance, and scalability

- Manage resources on multiple technical projects and ensure schedules, milestones, and priorities are compatible with technology and business goals

- Translate functional requirements into robust, efficient, supportable solutions that work well within the overall system architecture

- Produce comprehensive, usable software documentation

- Evaluate and make decisions around the use of new or existing software products and tools

- Mentor junior development engineers

Requirements:

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

- 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or a related occupation involving software development

- Experience in designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, mobile, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using Java or Typescript

- Experience in mentoring or serving as Tech Lead to an engineering team

- Experience building containerized cloud applications using AWS CDK or AWS CloudFormation

- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, or object-oriented design principles to optimize code performance and efficiency

- Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs

- Experience using software testing techniques (unit testing, integration testing, or automated testing) to ensure high-quality, maintainable code

- Experience conducting performance monitoring, analysis, or optimization of applications

- Experience integrating security best practices into the development lifecycle
