## Description

TransPerfect Connect (TPC) is looking for Creole Bilinguals at all levels with demonstrated experience utilizing their bilingual skills in a professional setting. We will train you to start your career path as an Over the Phone Interpreter.

As a Creole Bilingual Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing consecutive interpretation services Over-The-Phone remotely, as well as Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) services. You will enable global communication for clients, no matter the language barrier.

**Responsibilities**

- Provide consecutive interpretation services Over-The-Phone and Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) services

- Deliver superior consecutive interpretations to clients

- Utilize your bilingual skills to help others

**Training**

- Four weeks of remote/online training with a dedicated Trainer

- Training covers interpretation and listening skills, industry-specific terms, and protocols

**Requirements**

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

- Work from Home experience

- Professional proficiency (speaking, listening, and reading) in English and Creole at an above average level

- Ability to pass a language assessment

- Bilingual customer service experience

**Work Tools**

- Windows or Mac computer (8GB RAM or higher)

- Broadband (high-speed Internet connection) - Download & Upload speed at least 25Mbps or higher
