## Description

As the APAC Regional Investigations Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring investigations in the region are conducted promptly, fairly, and effectively, fostering trust and confidence in the SpeakUp process.

You will act as the lead regional subject matter expert on investigations and will deliver value to the business by protecting Diageo assets, leveraging investigation insights to better prevent or identify future issues and help the business operate more effectively.

You will be responsible for:

- Internal investigations into alleged breaches of Our Code or relevant laws, delivering investigations to a high standard, ensuring alignment with regulatory and legal requirements, and working closely with other functions.

- Supporting the transformation of the global investigations operating model, including contributing expertise and regional insights and working with others on global initiatives.

- Leveraging investigative insights to help the business manage risk.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capability and the ability to communicate this analysis clearly to a diverse range of stakeholders, creating clarity in the key steps necessary to assess compliance with laws/policies.

They will also be fundamentally ethical, with the ability to build trust by acting with integrity and sensitivity in dealing with delicate situations and potentially conflicting priorities.

The successful candidate will have significant relevant experience investigating misconduct in the region, as well as specific investigative skills that will contribute to the overall capabilities of the group, such as forensic accounting, data analysis, digital forensics or safeguarding and trauma informed investigations.

Fluency in English and Mandarin is required, with skills in other languages also welcome.
