## Description

Syneos Health is seeking a Clinical/Medical Scientist (Medical Monitoring) - Infectious Disease. The successful candidate will work with the Medical Director to develop medical plans, perform medical reviews of data, and analyze data to identify risks and trends.

Responsibilities:

- Develop medical plans, including Medical Management Plans, Medical Data Review Plans, and Eligibility Review Plans

- Perform regular and ad-hoc medical reviews of data listings and data visualization

- Analyze data to identify risks and data patterns/trends

- Author medical data queries and review query responses

- Partner with Medical Directors for medical data review meetings and safety review meetings

- Manage project scope of work, objectives, and quality of deliverables

- Collaborate with study team members, including Clinical Operations, Data Management, Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance, and Project Management

- Attend and present at Trusted Process meetings and participate in internal and external audits

Requirements:

- Degree in life sciences (BS, MSc, PharmD, PhD)

- Medical monitoring experience in HIV clinical trials required

- Excellent time management skills

- Ability to troubleshoot situations and understand when issues or questions need to be escalated to leadership

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Excellent computer skills, including MS Office programs

- Knowledge of drug development and demonstrated proficiency with ICH/GCP guidelines

- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
