## Description

The Fast Stream Learning and Development Practitioner role sits within the Assessment, Development and Evaluation (ADE) team within FSET.

The ADE team has transitioned to internal delivery of learning and development over the past 12 months. This transformation represents a significant step forward in our commitment to building capabilities and growing talent from within.

The Learning and Development Practitioner role is crucial for ensuring the delivery of a consistent high-quality learning experience for Fast Streamers throughout the Fast Stream Core Learning Journey. The Core Learning Journey incorporates four modules which are spread over the academic year and the 3-4 year programme.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Attend Fast Stream core learning events throughout the Fast Stream programme

- Provide project administration and support to a variety of learning projects

- Support the operational management of the foundation skills modules, including venue bookings, logistics and communications

- Support the delivery and facilitation of training sessions for facilitators on the foundation skills team, including managing and delivering virtual information sessions

- Contribute to evaluation and continuous improvement of the Core Learning Journey, including peer observations and hosting focus groups with learners

- Host Action Learning Sets with Fast Streamers

- Potentially deliver and facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions as part of the end-to-end Core Learning Journey to Fast Streamers

- Show a strong commitment to your own growth and learning by continuously developing your skills and staying up to date with the latest learning and development practices

**Person Specification:** **Essential Criteria:**

- Ability to travel to different locations to support the delivery of training

- Understanding of how adults learn and develop

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills

- Good organisational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to manage a variety of projects

- Operational delivery skills with experience of working on events

- Commitment to personal development and a growth mindset

**Desirable Criteria:**

- Experience of working with an early-career or graduate audience

- Experience of delivering leadership and management development programmes

- Ability to deliver adult learning experiences in different settings (in-person and online)

- Facilitation of learning to an adult audience

- Coaching and using coaching tools and techniques in facilitation

**Qualifications:**

- Level 5 CIPD L&D qualification (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards
