## Description

Sweden's tramway network is growing, with more cities investing in trams as a sustainable and efficient mode of transportation. At WSP, we're driving this development forward, working on projects that make a difference for future sustainable cities.

We have experience from tramway projects in Gothenburg, Stockholm, Lund, and Uppsala, and we're taking the next step by developing tramway solutions that connect cities in a smart and sustainable way. Our projects, such as Spårväg Uppsala, are among the most exciting and comprehensive in Sweden, involving all of WSP's disciplines – from BEST-K to urban planning and bridge construction.

We're now expanding our capabilities to meet the increasing demand for tramway solutions in Sweden. As part of our growing rail organization, you'll have the opportunity to work on tramway projects at various stages – from early investigations to completed construction documents.

Your role may involve being responsible for planning and designing tramway facilities, contributing to the creation of sustainable and efficient solutions for future cities. You may also lead and coordinate projects, drive investigations, and provide data that informs important decisions.

For those with a technical background, there's the opportunity to work with BEST-K design – track, electricity, signals, telecommunications, and canalization – and contribute to creating robust and functional systems.

**Who are you?**

We're looking for someone with experience who wants to work in the tramway sector. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to several different parts of the projects – depending on your skills and interests. We're primarily looking for someone with experience in track, electricity, signals, telecommunications, and canalization for trams, both in the planning and design phases.

We prefer that you live near one of Sweden's current or future tramway cities, but since we operate as a national subsector, you can also be located in any of our other offices from Malmö to Luleå.

Since our deliveries take place in Swedish, you need to master the language well, while the role involves collaboration in a global organization where English is a natural working language.
