## Description

Join our team as a Physical Therapist and help clients/patients/residents recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength and prevent deformities. Conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients/patients/residents affected by injury or disease. Utilize tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following safeguards.

As a Physical Therapist, you will:

- Plan, organise and deliver physical therapy programs that help clients/patients/residents recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength and prevent deformities.

- Conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients/patients/residents affected by injury or disease.

- Utilize tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following safeguards.

- Document client's/patient's/resident's information for evaluation; establish therapeutic plans and modify them if necessary.

- Educate clients/patients/residents and their family members about treatment plans/schedules and self-exercises to be continued at home.

You will work with individuals of all ages with varying diagnoses and disorders. You will demonstrate documentation in accordance with departmental guidelines and meet all regulatory requirements.

As a Physical Therapist, you will also be responsible for:

- Exhibiting flexibility with acceptance of variable work schedules/assignments.

- Participating in activities to promote the department, Good Samaritan Society and Sanford Health.

- Interacting with individuals outside of the department including but not limited to: providers, case managers, third party payers, public organisations, companies/contractual partners, etc.

- Supervising assistants, aides, and students as they provide client/patient/resident care, treatment, or other services.

- Providing ongoing education and training to peers in the area(s) of expertise as determined by the department leadership.

Based on facility needs and assigned locations, you may focus on those receiving intervention in the post-acute, long term care and home health care environments.
