## Description

Take your litigation skills to the next level as a Fast Track Quantum Handler at Davies, handling litigated delegated and non-delegated motor instructions on behalf of key insurer clients and the MIB.

As a Specialist Handler, you will need to demonstrate legal knowledge and provide clear advice on claim strategies. You will handle cases for the MIB and other insurers, requiring recognition of technically biased cases and understanding of agreements like the Uninsured Drivers and Untraced Drivers Agreement.

## Key Responsibilities

- Review files and abide by Client Guidelines

- Apply knowledge of litigation, CPR Rules, and Court procedures

- Formulate strategies and draft reports

- Prepare legal documents and comply with Court orders

- Manage case spend and undertake negotiations

- Liaise with insured parties, insurers, and brokers

- Ensure actions are carried out and tasks delegated

- Record time and management information accurately

- Process bills according to Client Guidelines

- Maintain ISO 9001 compliant files

- Comply with SRA Standards & Regulations

## Working Hours

35 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch.

## Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

- Experience handling Fast Track RTA litigated files

- Understanding of indemnity and/or the MIB

- Drafting legal documents and liaising with Counsel

- Managing fixed fees and delivering quality

- Good negotiation and IT skills

- Ability to work as part of a team, use initiative, and prioritize workloads
