## Description

Sanford Health is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to work with our Good Samaritan locations in Albert Lea and Austin, MN.

As a PRN Physical Therapist, you will plan, organize, and deliver physical therapy programs to help patients recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions for patients affected by injury or disease

- Utilize tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following safeguards

- Document patient information for evaluation and establish therapeutic plans

- Educate patients and their family members about treatment plans and self-exercises

- Demonstrate knowledge of current research into daily treatment of patients

- Treat individuals of all ages with varying diagnoses and disorders

- Follow and adhere to accepted clinical practice guidelines of professional organization

- Exhibit flexibility with acceptance of variable work schedules and assignments

- Participate in activities to promote the department and Sanford Health

- Supervise assistants, aides, and students as needed

- Provide ongoing education and training to peers

Qualifications:

- Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure

- Licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist

- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers required or within the first 60 days of employment
