## Description

We are seeking a Driver to join our team at Richmond Village Bede in Bedworth. As a Driver, you will organise and facilitate a daily transport schedule that meets the needs of residents within the village, providing scheduled and on-demand trips.

**Responsibilities:**

- Collecting and delivering items of equipment to and from the village as required using company vehicles

- Carrying out scheduled checks on company vehicles, ensuring all documentation is in order and that vehicles are cleaned and have an adequate supply of fuel

- Reporting any vehicle defects and investigating and documenting the findings as required

- Completing journey logs after each use and monitoring Tax and MOT expiry dates, informing the Administrator near due dates

- Ensuring vehicles are locked and that alarms are activated when parking

**Requirements:**

- Full, clean UK driving licence

- Experience in a customer-focused environment

- Polite and courteous with a can-do approach to your work

- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to build a trusting relationship with people

- First aid trained with previous experience driving groups of people, using wheelchair restraint systems and vehicle tail-lifts would be advantageous
