The role holder will deliver end-to-end projects in the analytics and ML domain. They will collaborate with Senior WPB Leadership team to determine and prioritise immediate requirements, and anticipate future Analytics, ML, BI/MI, Campaign, and data needs. Responsible to work on prioritised Analytics projects, handling trigger engine and critical Sr. Management/Group/Region ad-hoc requests and consulting to ensure high-quality delivery of actionable insights, modelling, product, network analytics and business analysis.

Principal Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end data science solutions to support IWPB business objectives

- Build, validate, and maintain machine learning models, ensuring robust model lifecycle management

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into analytical solutions, and deliver actionable insights

- Work independently to manage projects from data extraction and cleaning to model deployment and business presentation

- Liaise with cross-functional teams, including business, technology, and operations, to ensure alignment and timely delivery

- Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences using Excel and PowerPoint

- Leverage advanced analytics and statistical techniques to solve complex business problems

- Utilise SQL, Python, and SAS for data manipulation, analysis, and modelling

- Work with cloud platforms - Google Cloud Platform (GCP), for scalable data processing and model deployment

- Stay updated with the latest trends in data science, machine learning, and generative AI; proactively seek opportunities to apply new techniques

- Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and upskilling within the team

- Ensure all work adheres to HSBC's data governance, privacy, and compliance standards
