### How you’ll make impact

As a Senior Accountant, Americas, you’ll own financial controllership across our Americas entities while supporting group-wide reporting, audit, and strategic initiatives. Your responsibilities include:

- Owning end-to-end financial controllership activities for Airwallex’s Americas entities

- Driving controllership improvement initiatives using company-provided AI tools

- Reviewing and preparing monthly financial close activities for Americas entities

- Maintaining compliance with U.S. GAAP and local regulatory requirements

- Partnering with various teams on new product launches and commercial structures

### What we’re looking for

**Essentials**

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field

- 5+ years of finance or accounting experience

- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting acumen

- Experience working in financial services, fintech, or a regulated industry

- Proven experience in a financial controllership role

- Strong understanding of internal controls and compliance requirements

- Excellent communication skills and ability to operate independently

**Preferred**

- Big Four experience

- CPA or an equivalent qualification

- Experience working with Oracle ERP, Pigment FP&A, or similar modern finance tools
