## About This Role

We're seeking highly motivated individuals to join our Anthropic STEM Fellows Program. As a Fellow, you'll work alongside our research teams to develop and apply cutting-edge AI models to real-world problems in various STEM domains.

## What You'll Work On

- Design rigorous evaluations to measure model performance in your field

- Identify or create data and techniques to target capability gaps

- Apply Claude to open problems in your domain using various test-time compute strategies and integrating relevant scientific tools/software

## Ideal Candidates

- Are excited about the potential for AI to accelerate scientific discovery

- Are familiar with using Claude and Claude Code as part of their day-to-day workflow

- Are comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-agency atmosphere for a few months and delivering concrete results

- Hold (or are completing) a PhD in a STEM field, or have equivalent research experience
