## Description

We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team at our Smyrna, DE location.

As a Physical Therapist at ATI Physical Therapy, you will work with patients to help them recover from injuries or illnesses and improve their overall health and well-being. You will assess patients' conditions, develop treatment plans, and provide hands-on therapy to help patients achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:

- Assess patients' conditions and develop treatment plans

- Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises, stretches, and manual therapy

- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises to perform at home

- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare professionals as needed

- Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

- Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program

- Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Delaware

- Ability to work effectively with patients and their families

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working with patients with diverse backgrounds and conditions

- Certification in a specialty area of physical therapy

- Bilingual or multilingual skills
