## Description

Diageo is seeking a Commercial Strategy Lead to develop and execute its commercial strategy in North America.

The successful candidate will lead the development and execution of Diageo North America's commercial strategy, focusing on Route-to-Market, distributor strategy, customer and channel strategy, and commercial transformation.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing and evolving Diageo's Route-to-Market strategy to accelerate growth across channels, customers, distributors, and markets

- Serving as a strategic advisor to the President US Sales and senior commercial leadership team

- Assessing and driving strategic choices, operating models, and transformational initiatives that shape commercial performance

- Shaping Diageo's long-term distributor strategy and partnerships

- Leading end-to-end commercial transformation initiatives to improve commercial effectiveness, sales productivity, and distributor performance

- Supporting annual and long-range planning processes by identifying key strategic growth drivers and risks

- Leading market assessments, strategic partnerships, and special projects impacting commercial growth

- Developing Executive Committee, Board, and North America leadership presentations that communicate strategic recommendations

The ideal candidate will have:

- 12+ years' professional experience, including 8-10 years' experience across strategy consulting, corporate strategy, and experience within the consumer goods industry

- A demonstrated track record leading enterprise-wide or commercial transformation programmes

- Deep strategic, commercial, and financial expertise

- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive influencing skills

- Proven people leadership experience
