## Description

The Daytime Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring a safe, orderly, and positive environment during lunch and recess periods at High Tech Elementary Explorer in Point Loma, California.

This position involves supervising students, enforcing school policies, and providing support as needed to facilitate a smooth and enjoyable midday break.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise students during lunch and recess periods to ensure their safety and well-being.

- Address and resolve minor conflicts and behavioral issues among students in a fair and consistent manner.

- Ensure that students adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.

- Provide assistance to students as needed, including helping with opening lunch containers and offering support in the event of minor accidents or injuries.

- Enforce school policies and procedures regarding student conduct and report any significant issues or incidents to the appropriate school staff.

- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other staff members to coordinate activities and address any concerns related to student behavior or safety.

- Maintain effective communication with students, staff, and parents as needed.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.

- Previous experience working with children in a school or recreational setting is preferred.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to manage and supervise groups of children effectively.

- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards working with students.

- Ability to handle minor conflicts and emergencies calmly and professionally.

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and assist with minor physical tasks.

Salary: USD 20.6-25.11 per hour.

This is an hourly position and does not qualify for benefits.
