## Description

As a Customer Delivery Driver at Waitrose & Partners in Daventry, you will play a crucial role in bringing high-quality produce and exceptional customer service directly to customers' doors.

Your day will involve driving a well-equipped, modern vehicle, interacting with customers, and managing deliveries efficiently. In-store, you will contribute to the smooth operation of the shop by completing tasks such as stock replenishment and housekeeping.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing excellent customer service while on the road

- Handling customer queries and resolving issues promptly

- Ensuring safe handling and delivery of products

- Building strong relationships with customers

- Conducting vehicle safety checks

- Assisting with general warehouse tasks when not on deliveries

To succeed in this role, you will need:

- To be 18 or older

- A full, valid UK manual car driving license (B-category) with no more than 6 penalty points

- Excellent people skills and a friendly approach to customer service

- Physical ability to lift crates, walk up stairs, and move large cages (up to 18kg)

Desirable skills include previous experience driving for work or knowledge of refrigerated vans.

In terms of compensation, you will earn £14.31 per hour, with night premium pay of £3.75 per hour for work between 22:00 and 06:00. The role is part-time, with 14.75 hours per week, including work on Fridays and Saturdays between 14:00 and 22:00.
