## Description

We are seeking a Senior Development Engineer - Connection Technology to develop and evaluate high-speed interconnects for demanding electronic and optoelectronic systems. You will utilise your expertise in signal integrity and connector, cable, and fibre optic technologies to guide solutions from specification to series maturity.

**Responsibilities:**

- Evaluate and develop connectors, cables, fibre optics, and high-speed connections for signal integrity, load capacity, EMC, robustness, and series suitability

- Independently handle development and design tasks and accompany technical solutions from specification to qualification

- Coordinate requirements with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and development partners to ensure successful implementation

- Support verification, troubleshooting, and technical evaluations of complex electronic and optoelectronic systems

- Create and review technical documentation, specifications, test reports, and acceptance criteria

- Contribute to the validation of new connection technologies and environmental, reliability, and load tests

**Requirements:**

- Completed studies in electronics, mechatronics, optoelectronics, physics, or a comparable field

- Several years of professional experience in developing connection technologies, ideally in challenging industrial, research, or high-tech environments

- In-depth knowledge of high-speed connections, optical data transmission, RF technology, and connector and cable systems

- Experience in technical evaluation, verification, qualification, and error analysis of electronic or optoelectronic systems

- Safe handling of suppliers, development partners, and internal stakeholders

- Excellent communication skills in German and English, with the ability to represent technical decisions and convey complex content understandably
