## Description

We are seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to join our team in Bogotá, Colombia. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and update job descriptions for all Accounting staff

- Ensure sufficient resources are in place and each position is held by a person with the appropriate qualification

- Agree on annual objectives and link variable pay to achievement levels

- Conduct bi-annual performance reviews, providing clear, honest, and fair feedback

- Promote development and internal training to elevate knowledge levels within the team

- Ensure all key processes are documented in writing and checklists are being used

Requirements:

- Relevant accounting qualification (Certified Management Accountant)

- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience in a similar organisation

- English language skills

- Vast knowledge of local tax regulations, local GAAP, and IFRS

- Strong leadership skills

- Effective communication skills

- IT literacy and SAP HANNA knowledge

- Knowledge of BI SAP is an advantage
