## Description

The Blackheath Hospital in London, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Porter to join their team on a bank shifts basis. The successful candidate will work on an 'as and when required' basis to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff.

Responsibilities include:

- Undertaking general and ad hoc tasks such as patient, equipment, and goods movement

- Explaining hospital facilities and services to patients and family members

- Providing a courteous service to internal and external customers

- Ensuring patient comfort and dignity are maintained

- Providing security for the facility as required

- Complying with all relevant mandatory training

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

- Frontline customer-facing experience

- Previous portering experience in a healthcare, hotel, or hospitality setting is beneficial

- Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence

- Proficiency in the use of a PC, including software and systems

Circle Health Group offers a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.79 per hour, depending on level of experience, training, and qualification.
