## Description

We are the Cloud Networking Product Operations Test Team in Cisco's Supply Chain Organisation, supporting new product introductions for data center switches.

The organisation is seeking a Test Development Engineer. This is your opportunity to innovate and continue to grow your skills!

**Responsibilities**

- End-to-end test development of data center switching products; Develop test automation script using Python.

- Support EMS partners and product-related testing issues; Collaborate with product team to implement and implement test strategies, test plans, and test processes.

- Generate product-specific test plans and drive test coverage based on product requirements; Design, build, and deploy test platforms for Cisco's global manufacturing partner.

- Analyse, approach, and root cause manufacturing yield issues and field escapes; Drive issues to closure with preventive measures; Drive test-related improvement and optimisation.

- Specify, develop, and/or procure test equipment, test fixtures, and test solutions; Define debug processes for test engineers in manufacturing sites.

**Minimum Qualifications**

- Minimum of 4 years of test engineering experience with a solid understanding of standard Design for Test (DFT) techniques and a basic understanding of Cisco or industry-standard testing methodologies.

- Proficient in Software Programming, specifically Python and Bash.

- Strong adherence to coding standards.

- Familiarity with version control and continuous integration software tools such as Github and Jenkins.

- Experience in manufacturing and hardware testing, with the ability to debug, analyse, and identify root causes of manufacturing yield and test issues.

**Salary**

- The starting salary range posted for this position is $138,100.00 to $196,500.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations.
