## Description

We are seeking a Customer and Trading Manager to lead our small supermarket team in Carrickfergus, County Antrim. As a Customer and Trading Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the store, often being the only manager on site with full accountability for the shop.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Work closely with a small team of managers to ensure the store runs smoothly every day.

- Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the store, often being the only manager in with accountability for the full shop.

- Work alongside a team to complete all tasks, ensuring customers are served efficiently and safely.

- Manage performance and capability, conduct disciplinaries, and ensure scheduling and pay are accurate.

- Occasionally assist another store in the network.

**Requirements:**

- Previous line management experience in a fast-paced, operational environment.

- Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and coaching colleagues to do the same.

- Experience of leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

- Operational leadership skills, with ability to take responsibility for store operations in the absence of more senior managers.

- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding KPIs.

- Experience of managing employee relations issues, including performance and absence management.
