## Description

Zscaler, a leading company in cybersecurity, is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to join its team in Bangalore. This hybrid role reports to the Senior Manager, Software Development Engineering in the Engineering department.

The successful candidate will serve as a solutions test engineer for Identity services, designing and developing wide-reaching automation tools and testing infrastructure. They will write clean, maintainable code to automatically verify product quality and performance.

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop automation tools and testing infrastructure

- Write clean, maintainable code to automatically verify product quality and performance

- Serve as a solutions test engineer for Identity services

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience working on systems or distributed systems with a focus on solutions testing and cloud infrastructure

- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions

- Hands-on experience in Python or Golang along with experience building automation frameworks

- Knowledge of public cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure

- Knowledge of virtual environments including Docker, containers, Kubernetes, and OVA

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience leveraging AI/ML tools or intelligent automation to enhance automated test generation, fault domain isolation, and software quality verification

- Deep understanding of Java and security technologies within the Identity (IAM) domain

- Demonstrated expertise in software development and development automation
