## Description

We are seeking an experienced AVP Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and delivery of secure, scalable, and resilient applications, with primary accountability for customer journey solutions.

**Purpose of the Role** The successful candidate will spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. You will be responsible for building high-performing teams, driving engineering excellence through modern architecture, high-quality engineering, automation, security, CICD, and operational best practices.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Design, develop, and improve software using various engineering methodologies

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and devise solution strategies

- Ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives

- Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations

- Adhere to secure coding practices and implement effective unit testing practices

**Requirements**

- Experience with technologies such as REACT, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes

- Ability to design, build, test, and operate production services

- Experience working with APIs, RESTful services, integration contracts, and data or domain models

- Strong understanding of application architecture, dependency management, and maintainable code design

**Nice to Have**

- Experience with DevOps tools such as Gitlab, Terraform, Ansible, Datadog, and Helm

- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and identity management

- Experience with AI engineering tools to accelerate research, code understanding, prototyping, implementation, and documentation
