## Description

We are seeking a Senior BFA, VP to join our team in Pune, India.

As a Business Functional Analyst, you will be responsible for business solution design in complex project environments. Your work will involve:

- Identifying and translating business requirements into functional specifications for solution development and implementation

- Analyzing business requirements and associated impacts of changes

- Designing and assisting businesses in developing optimal target state business processes

- Creating and executing roadmaps for solution development and implementation

- Aligning with other key stakeholder groups to support the link between business divisions and solution providers

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Gathering requirements from regulatory specification documents and reviewing with stakeholders

- Analyzing regulatory requirements, identifying impacted systems, documenting BRDs and FSDs, and reviewing with stakeholders

- Engaging in industry working groups to seek updates on upcoming and existing regulations

- Mentoring and building a strong pool of functional SMEs to drive business analysis and functional analysis of regulatory changes

- Working closely with development teams to build critical components and ensuring implementation aligns with end-state architecture

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Minimum 12 years of experience working in the investment banking domain and at least 8 years working in regulatory reporting

- Strong knowledge of critical regulations such as Dodd Frank Act, MIFIR, CSDR, CASS, MSRB, etc.

- Understanding of investment banking products, especially OTC derivatives, structured and unstructured products, loans, cash equities, bonds

- Ability to leverage generative AI tools to speed up requirements gathering

- Hands-on experience with requirements gathering and documentation tools like JIRA, JAMA, Confluence, etc.

- Experience in agile and scrum delivery

- Strong demonstrable experience working with business and senior technology stakeholders

- Degree in finance, computer science, or software engineering or equivalent
