## Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer in Automated Testing to join our LUS software team in Montreal. Our mission is to serve and connect people by creating an environment where everyone can thrive. Lyft Urban Solutions provides bike-sharing and scooter systems used by millions of people in over 60 cities worldwide.

The successful candidate will work on developing and maintaining our bike-sharing and payment software, improving reliability and security, evolving our software architecture, and enhancing the user interface and experience.

**Responsibilities:**

- Develop and maintain the automated testing framework for the payment service

- Improve test coverage for existing kiosk testing frameworks

- Collaborate with the team on designing and architecting testing frameworks

- Perform manual testing of the payment service occasionally

- Write well-designed, tested, readable, and maintainable code

- Understand and explain trade-offs in design decisions

- Collaborate with teams to achieve desired results

**Experience:**

- BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

- 2+ years of experience in engineering as an automated test developer or relevant experience

- Experience with Python, pytest, and Java (desirable)

- Experience with payment services, PSP, Restful API, relational databases, SQL, Elasticsearch, and embedded systems (desirable)

- Fluency in spoken and written English and working proficiency in French

The expected salary range for this position in the Montreal area is CAD $72,000 - CAD 90,000.
