## Description

We are seeking an Associate Director Town Planning (Infrastructure Planning) to join our team at WSP. As a leading consultancy, we operate within both the infrastructure and property markets, employing the largest number of chartered town planners across the UK.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Acting as Project Director for projects led and managed by the Infrastructure Planning business

- Acting as Planning Expert Witness at DCO examinations or other hearings or inquiries

- Leading on complex negotiations with statutory bodies and stakeholders on behalf of clients

- Demonstrating a strong understanding of project finances and having project management experience, ideally within a consultancy environment

- Providing line management and mentoring to colleagues

The ideal candidate will have a degree level qualification in town planning (or equivalent) and be a member of the RTPI.
