## Description

We are seeking a Vice President - Financial Control to manage the financial operations of the organisation, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of financial reporting.

The successful candidate will lead the Bank's financial control and regulatory reporting function comprising capital adequacy, liquidity and ALM returns, ensuring full compliance with RBI regulations, accounting standards and internal control requirements.

Responsibilities:

- Management of the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements, and other accounting records in accordance with the relevant accounting standards, rules and regulations.

- Support in identification, assessment, and mitigation of financial risks, and report on these financial risks to senior colleagues.

- Development and maintenance of a robust system of internal controls to safeguard assets, ensure that there is no fraudulent misreporting, and ensure the accuracy of financial data.

- Development and implementation of up-to-date financial policies and procedures to ensure consistent and effective financial practices across the organisation.

- Management of the selection, implementation, and maintenance of financial systems and software applications.

Requirements:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).

- Experience within the Indian banking industry.

- Strong knowledge of RBI regulations and regulatory reporting.

- Strong knowledge of Basel capital adequacy framework.

- Strong knowledge of liquidity and ALM reporting.

- Strong knowledge of treasury and banking products.

- Strong knowledge of RBI accounting norms.

- Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP, IFRS, and Ind AS.

- Strong knowledge of financial control-related activities.

- Strong knowledge of internal financial controls and governance frameworks.

- Proven experience managing financial audits and regulatory inspections.

- Demonstrated leadership experience managing large teams in a demanding and complex environment.
