## Description

Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. seeks a Software Engineering Senior Advisor for the Morris Plains, NJ location to provide counsel and advice to management on significant software engineering matters.

Responsibilities:

- Work on highly complex processes and projects, providing thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines, and completing complex software delivery assignments.

- Deliver solutions on the communication platform, collaborating with technical product owners, business product owners, other engineering teams, solution architecture, vendors, infrastructure, CIP, release management, and other partners.

- Drive and promote software engineering best practices, ensuring timely delivery of products and projects.

- Ensure teams understand and deliver solutions meeting guidelines, resolving issues as needed.

- Participate in all project phases, from inception to post-implementation support, advising business partners and contributing to project planning.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, with 5 years of experience.

- Experience with: Java, Spring, AWS, OpenShift, Linux, Windows, Oracle, MongoDB, Kafka, Unica, Splunk, Dynatrace, ServiceNow, Cursor, Microsoft Copilot, Jira, and Confluence.

The role offers a hybrid work schedule and an annual salary of $130,200 - $217,000, depending on experience and location. The position is also eligible for an annual bonus plan.
