## Description

We are seeking a Line Cook for our Holiday Inn Dulles location in Sterling, Virginia. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items in accordance with Holiday Inn brand high-quality standards. You will provide support to other cooks and enforce compliance with health regulations, helping to achieve overall financial results, guest satisfaction, and positive team member relations.

**Responsibilities:**

- Ensure the highest level of food quality and production to standards, performing daily line checks and audits.

- Implement necessary changes to improve quality and develop standard operating procedures.

- Monitor presentation and menu changes, using records and photographs.

- Control food costs while maximizing revenue, following Holiday Inn procurement guidelines.

- Provide excellent guest service, addressing concerns in a timely manner.

- Lead by example with food safety standards and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate clear communication skills.

**Required Skills and Experience:**

- High school diploma or GED required.

- College and/or culinary degree or equivalent experience required.

- 2+ years of progressive cook or kitchen experience required.

- Detail-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and work extended hours.

**Additional Information:** The actual base pay offered is determined by several variables, including the applicant's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and level of education attained.
