## Description

We are seeking a Senior Engineer - Electrical to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing electrical building services designs predominantly for Railway Stations and other Railway Buildings, working individually or as part of a team. You will prepare, coordinate, and monitor a project from initial conception to final completion, and supervise and mentor Assistant Engineers/Engineers in day-to-day activities.

Key responsibilities include:

- Designing low voltage reticulation and distribution systems (230/400Volt) including UPS sources

- Operating AMTECH/Electrical OM software to produce designs for low voltage systems

- Designing general and emergency lighting systems

- Developing cable management systems (CMS) including trunking, tray, and conduits

- Presenting designs onto schematic and 2D layout drawings

- Using Bentley Microstation and AECOsim to model 3D MEP services

- Understanding BIM and working within a Common Data Environment

- Supervising and verifying the work of designers/modellers

- Interpreting client specification requirements

- Operating Microsoft Office packages

- Guiding Assistant Engineers/Engineers in day-to-day work

- Ensuring health and safety for yourself and team members

The ideal candidate will have:

- A degree in Electrical Engineering

- Proven experience in electrical design in the rail environment

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Experience of leading and guiding teams

- Professional membership and qualification (CEng) from international professional institutions
